Leading Learning is an organization aimed at fostering programs, policies and infrastructure to support learning in our connected world. It is directed at teachers, researchers and decision makers at the school, school board, university, provincial educational organization and government level. Preparing students for success in a globally connected world and technology-driven society requires new designs and practices for teaching and learning at the classroom, school and organizational level. Our goal is to bring together those leaders in our schools, organizations and government to present and examine those new designs. Our work is done primarily through an annual conference where the participants present and share their inspirational ideas and practices on the effective use of technology for teaching, learning and training redefining the classroom and connecting students to their world. Our aim is to support the development of an environment for learning for the 21st century, linking learning capabilities and practices to educational achievement. The conference provides an opportunity for participants to engage and collaborate with each other and with provincial organizations and decision makers to influence policy, system structure and build leadership capacity related to the effective use of technology. The conference provides participants with a foundation for their work in their classrooms and within their organizations. |
